Holi Day is a Holy day…is a HoliDay…

I was with Aunty, who’s nursing my very high Blood Pressure. Then it was the 3rd consecutive Holi Day and my Father’s BirthDay.

We woke up early. Had the bath to get ready for the Holy Holi Prayers. And after the prayers, started to ponder upon “what to do now !!!”

She, the James Bond amongst us, struck with the idea to spend the entire day

watching movies. That way we shall be able to save the car from the hoodlums and their colours and also have a gala time.

The first one we watched was the AMAZINGLY tight, Mithya. So tight was the suspense that it was unsurpassed! We were the only souls watching that one! 2 people in the hall with a capacity of 300.

We returned home to eat something and ended up finishing an bottle of wine. Then went to Slice Of Italy and had our fill of very tasty Pizzas. So tasty were the Pizzas that Aunty, who hates junk food, fell in instant love with Pizza and that too the Slice of Italy kind! Since then, she has called me twice to ask the name of THAT Pizza Joint to order!

Then was time for the Second movie of the day. That was Taare Zameen Par. So sentimental was the first half of the movie that I kept on crying. I could not go to get some PopCorn and Pepsi, complimentary, on the house, for my swollen eyes. :-P Did that after interval when Amir Khan, song started…

--- It's 8 AM. Feeling too Sleepy... Going home now...
Shall edit and enhance this one soon...
Will write a long one about Aunty, my EVERYONE. My Mother, my God, my Conscience. It's Time!---

  1. Little do men perceive what solitude is, and how far it extendeth.
    For a crowd is not company, and faces are but a gallery of pictures,
    and talk but a tinkling cymbal, where there is no love.

    - Francis Bacon

  2. All the birds have flown up and gone;
    A lonely cloud floats leisurely by.
    We never tire of looking at each other -
    Only the mountain and I.

    -Li Po
